I am a Mexican-American mix media artist, originally from Las Vegas, currently based in the Bronx, NYC. I have a background in psychology and public health, and have worked both internationally and domestically, implementing public health programs that improve and promote health and wellness in marginalized communities. Thus my artistic practice delves into the exploration of collective struggle, liberation, femininity, vulnerability, and resilience, as well as the power and beauty of nature. I draw on a variety of media, including painting, drawing, and mixed media, to create pieces that invite viewers to reflect on their own relationship with the world around them.
